At Mecitoglu, we are aware that buying property in a foreign country may be daunting, for this reason, we go to great lengths to ensure the process is a stress-free experience for our clients. Transparency is our policy and there are no hidden fees or charges of any kind.
The BUYER is liable for all associated legal/administration fees and additionally the property acquisition tax (Buyer’s Tax).
To establish a smooth buying process and put your mind at ease, all legal charges and associated administration costs are paid by Mecitoglu in advance until the end of the purchase process. The fees paid on the buyers’ behalf include the following:
- Subscription/connection fee for electricity
- Subscription/connection fee for water
- Participation fee for infrastructure/sewerage (council)
- Habitation certificate – iskan (council)
- Habitation certificate – iskan (tax office)
- Admin fee for cadastral office (previously military permission)
- Admin fee to title deed office
- Notary fee for power of attorney
- Translation fees
- First year’s compulsory earthquake insurance
